Are you gathering a big company at the festive table? Cook the whole turkey. Bake it with fragrant apples, and garnish with rosemary and bright cranberries when serving. Beautiful, delicious and festive!

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the turkey and dry it with paper towels.

Thoroughly rub the carcass inside and out with salt, ground pepper.

Cover with plastic wrap and leave to marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.

Brush the turkey on all sides with olive oil.

Put three apples inside the bird.

Cut the remaining apples into slices and place them on a baking sheet covered with foil.

Spread the parsley sprigs evenly. You should get a kind of pillow made of apples and greens.

Put the turkey on top. Tie the legs with a thick thread, fasten the belly with toothpicks or sew up.

Cover the turkey with a double layer of foil and send it to bake for 1.5 hours in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees.

Gently lift the foil, pour the resulting juice over the bird, cover with foil and continue cooking for 40 minutes.

Remove the foil, pour the juice from the baking tray and bake for another 40 minutes. Check the readiness by piercing the meat with a two-pronged fork or knife.

Put the finished turkey on a wide plate, garnish with rosemary sprigs and cranberries.
