Despite the fact that jelly can be prepared from freezing, a drink made from fresh cherries is a separate pleasure. For density, I traditionally add starch. And if you want to make a full–fledged dessert, leave the berries whole.
Ingredients
- Cherry - 300 g
- Water - 1.2 l
- Sugar - 100 g
- Corn Starch - 2 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
If desired, remove the seeds from the cherry.
Fill the cherries with water, add sugar and bring to a boil.
Boil for 5-7 minutes.
Dilute the starch in a small amount of water.
Pour into the compote, stirring, and boil for another 3 minutes.
