When autumn comes, I always take a basket and go to the forest for red mountain ash to cook my favorite jam. Although, I must admit, sometimes I just buy it on the market. This jam is perfect for filling pies or just to spread it on toast.
Ingredients
- Mountain Ash - 1 kg
- Sugar - 800 g
- Water - 300 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cook the syrup from water and sugar.
Put the rowan into it and boil for 20 minutes.
Let cool a little and chop with a blender.
Bring the jam to a boil again, boil until thick and roll it into sterile jars.
