For as long as I can remember, my mother has been cooking red currant juice in a juicer. A magical fragrance hovered around the house all day. Somehow, miraculously, the last jar was never full, so it was cooled and served the same day for dinner.
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 3 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the currants from the twigs and rinse under running water.
Place the berries in a special compartment and sprinkle with sugar.
Pour the required amount of water into the appropriate compartment.
Put the juicer on the fire and cook until the berries give all the juice.
Pour the juice into clean jars and roll up.
