Personally, I am convinced that lemon will never spoil any baking. And on this occasion I want to share my favorite recipe for homemade sour cream. Especially it will appeal to those who do not like too sweet and sugary pastries for dessert.
Ingredients
For cakes:
- Vegetable oil - 200 ml
- Sugar - 200 g
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Baking powder dough - 1.5 tsp.
- Lemon - 2 pieces
- Flour - 150 g
- Milk - 100 ml
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Vanilla sugar - 20 g
For cream:
- Sour cream - 500 g
- Powdered sugar - 200 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the zest from the lemons and squeeze out the juice.
Mix all the sugar and vegetable oil. Add the eggs individually, continuing to stir.
Add milk, salt, lemon juice and zest, and flour with baking powder.
Mix the dough until smooth.
Bake the sponge cake in the oven for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
Whisk sour cream with powdered sugar until fluffy.
Cut the cooled sponge cake, smear the cakes with cream and assemble the sour cream.
