This recipe will appeal to vegetarians, adherents of a healthy diet and in general to everyone who keeps a fast or diets. Carrot cutlets are prepared very simply and quickly. The vegetable can be pre-boiled or baked in the oven.
Ingredients
- Carrots (boiled) – 1 kg
- Semolina - 80 g
- Breadcrumbs - 100 g
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Curry - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 80 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate boiled carrots on a fine grater or grind in a blender.
Mix carrots, semolina, salt, curry and ground black pepper.
Cover the bowl with cling film and leave for half an hour at room temperature.
Take a little of the resulting mass with a spoon, form a cutlet with your hands, roll it in breadcrumbs and put it on a preheated frying pan with oil. Repeat the steps with the remaining mass.
Fry the cutlets over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. You should get a beautiful ruddy crust.
