Today I will share a recipe for a delicious salad of green tomatoes with carrots and onions. This recipe is especially for you if you don't know where to put green tomatoes. We will cook without sterilization, which means that even a novice hostess will cope with the preparation.


Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash tomatoes, cut into medium slices.

Peel and grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into half rings.

Peel the bell pepper from the seeds and stalks, cut into cubes.

Combine the prepared vegetables in a cooking pot, add salt, mix well and leave for 3 hours at room temperature so that the vegetables let the juice.

Then place the pan with the salad on the fire, bring to a boil and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.

Add sugar, vegetable oil and vinegar, spices (optional), stir and boil for another 15 minutes.

Pack the boiling salad in pre-sterilized jars, seal tightly, turn upside down and leave to cool completely. Transfer the cooled workpiece to a cool, dark place for storage.
