The perfect recipe for those who want to make pickles with light notes of piquancy. Crispy pickled cucumbers with mustard seeds are a great snack option, an addition to salads, pasta and other dishes. Garlic can be excluded if desired.

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers - 2,5 kg
  • Garlic - 4 clove
  • Mustard Seeds - 2 tbsp.l .
  • Bay leaf - 3 pieces
  • Vinegar - 80 ml
  • Sugar - 80 g
  • Salt - 60 g
  • Water (filtered) – 2,2 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put mustard seeds, coarsely chopped garlic cloves and bay leaf in jars.

Place the prepared cucumbers tightly.

Pour boiling water and leave to warm up for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, boil it and pour it back into the jars for 20-30 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and salt, boil for 2 minutes.

Add vinegar, pour into jars and roll up the cucumbers.
