Pick the blackberries and rinse them under running water.
Arrange the berries in jars, taking up no more than one-third.
Mix water with sugar and boil for a couple of minutes.
Pour the boiling syrup into jars, cover with lids and put in a saucepan with hot water.
Sterilize for 15 minutes, roll up and turn upside down. To make the cans warm up better, wrap them with a thick towel for a day.
