In my family, everyone just loves Honey cake, so I try to cook it often. I have several recipes on duty, but this is what I usually use. It is simple and clear, the proportions and sequence of actions are remembered from the first time.
Ingredients
- Flour - 500 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Honey - 4 tbsp.l .
- Butter - 120 g
- Sugar - half a glass
- Salt - on the tip of the knife
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Sour cream (25% fat content) – 500 ml
- Sugar - 180 g
- Vanillin - on the tip of the knife
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Melt butter and honey in a water bath.
Add sugar, salt, eggs and mix until smooth.
Add flour mixed with baking powder and knead a smooth dough. Divide it into 5 parts, cover with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Roll out each piece, put it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
If the thickness of the finished cakes will allow, cut them across into two even thinner blanks.
Beat the cooled sour cream with sugar and vanilla.
Assemble the cake, smearing the cakes with sour cream, and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
