Such tiramisu is prepared in Latvia. Instead of Savoyardi sponge cookies, ordinary rye bread is used. I prefer the cherry option, but dried fruits can be anything. In general, this dessert recipe is even simpler than the classic one.
Ingredients
- Bread (rye) – 250 g
- Cream (33% fat content) – 300 ml
- Mascarpone - 200 g
- Powdered sugar - 100 g
- Bitter chocolate - 60 g
- Cherry (canned) – 150 g
- Cognac - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the bread into cubes and lightly dry it in the oven.
Mix the crackers, canned cherries and cognac. Stir and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Beat the cream with a mixer at high speeds until thickened.
Add powdered sugar, mascarpone and mix.
Grate the chocolate on a fine grater.
Put the mass of breadcrumbs and cream in prepared dishes, alternating layers.
Sprinkle the finished dessert with grated chocolate and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
