Japanese mochi is still not quite familiar, but very tasty dessert. True, it can be difficult to buy such an exotic, and you still need to look. But there is great news – mochi is much easier to prepare than it seems. For example, here is an option with strawberries inside.
Ingredients
- Rice flour - 1 glass
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Water - 1 glass
- Strawberries - 8 pieces
- Starch - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar - 2 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix rice flour, sugar, water and vinegar until smooth.
Heat the mass in a water bath or steam, stirring. Let cool, heat again - and so 3 times.
Sprinkle the surface with starch. Divide the dough into 8 parts and roll out thinly.
If desired, put a little sweet bean paste anko on each tortilla.
Wrap strawberries in each tortilla and send the mochi to the refrigerator for a while.
