- Flour - 300 g
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp.l.
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Butter - 150 g
- Honey (liquid) – 3 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 4 art.l.
- Baking powder dough - 1 tsp.
- Coconut chips (for sprinkling) – 2 art.l.
- Egg whites - 6 pieces
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 150 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sift flour into a wide bowl, add sugar and baking powder.
Add melted butter, sour cream, egg and honey. Knead a soft dough.
Divide the dough into 10 portions, cover with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Take out one piece, roll it out with a rolling pin into a thin cake and put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake for 7-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the cake and the characteristics of the oven. Repeat the steps with the remaining test.
Beat the cooled proteins with sugar until sharp peaks.
Pour in the lemon juice and continue whipping for another 3 minutes.
Assemble the cake on a wide platter, smearing the cakes with cream.
Decorate the cake with cream on top and sides.
Using a pastry syringe, form small curls on the cake.
Generously sprinkle the cake with coconut shavings on all sides.
