If you like delicious and healthy treats for tea, then you are definitely familiar with the pastille. And if you like unusual culinary solutions, then you also know that it can be made from almost anything. And not only from fruits and berries, but also, for example, from carrots.
Ingredients
- Carrots - 500 g
- Applesauce - 100 g
- Water - 600 ml
- Sugar (or substitute) – 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the carrots, fill with water, boil for 10-15 minutes until soft and drain the water.
Chop the carrots with a blender. Add spices and sugar to taste.
Mix carrot and applesauce.
Put the mass in a thin layer on parchment.
Dry the pastille in the slightly open oven at minimum temperature or in the dryer according to the instructions for about 5-6 hours.
