Ingredients
- Carrots - 600 g
- Star anise - 3 asterisks
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Lemon zest - 0,5 tsp.
- Balsamic vinegar - 1,5 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 40 ml
- Ground red pepper - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the carrots on a special grater.
Add sugar, salt, paprika, ground red pepper and mix well.
Peel the onion from the husk and cut into large pieces.
Fry the onion in a hot frying pan with oil until golden brown.
Turn off the fire. Remove the onion, and pour the lemon zest and star anise into the hot oil.
Pour the hot oil into a bowl with carrots. Add vinegar, garlic passed through the press and mix well. Cover tightly and put away in a cool place for 2 hours.
