Usually pork skins are rarely bought. It's a pity, because they are a valuable product from which knowledgeable chefs prepare delicious dishes. For example, you can cook an excellent jelly from pork skins. Interested? Then catch the recipe!

Ingredients

  • Pork (skin) – 1.5 kg
  • Garlic - half a head
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Allspice - 2 peas
  • Black Pepper - 4 peas
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Water - 2,5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the pork skins thoroughly, cut into large pieces and put them in a saucepan.

Add water, spices, peeled onion and cook for 2 hours on low heat.

Remove the onion, add salt and garlic passed through the press to the broth. Boil for another 10 minutes.

Take out the skins, chop them finely and put them in prepared containers.

Strain the broth and pour it into molds with skins.

Cool the jelly to room temperature and put it in the refrigerator for 6 hours.
