Shawarma is a popular dish that has distant historical roots and is a symbol of street cuisine in many countries. Naturally, due to this, it has a lot of variations – regional and simply creative. How about shawarma in a pancake?
Ingredients
For Pancakes:
- Milk - 250 ml
- Water - 250 ml
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Flour - 250 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
For filling:
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Feta - 200 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Peking cabbage - 4 of the sheet
- Bow purple - 2 pieces
- Ketchup - 4 art.l.
- Mayonnaise - 4 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix the water with the milk, add the sifted flour and spices, and beat the dough with a mixer until smooth.
Fry the pancakes in a large frying pan on both sides until browned.
Cut the chicken into strips and fry in spices to taste. You can add soy sauce.
Cut all the vegetables into strips.
Smear 4 pancakes with ketchup and mayonnaise.
Lay out the filling and wrap the shawarma.
