Have you ever heard of beet kvass? If not yet, then you definitely need such a recipe! Perfect, very healthy and delicious, bright, and even affordable – and what else do you need? It will not be difficult to make such kvass at home. Unless you have to wait a little.

Ingredients

  • Beetroot - 1 kg
  • Bread (rye) – 1 crust
  • Brown Sugar - 0.5 glasses
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Water - 2.5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Grate the beetroot or slice it thinly.

Put it in a clean jar, add salt and sugar, and fill with water.

Add the bread crust, cover the kvass with gauze and leave for 5 days in a warm place.

Strain the kvass and bottle it.
