Some people don't like the pale color of the drink, but after the first sip they usually forget about it. White currant compote pleases with an incredible aroma and wonderful taste with wonderful notes of tartness. It is not worth boiling it for a long time, a couple of minutes is enough.
Ingredients
- White currant - 300 g
- Sugar - 4 art.l.
- Water (filtered) – 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick the white currant and rinse thoroughly.
Boil water, add currants and cook for 3 minutes over low heat.
Remove the pan from the stove, add sugar and mix well.
Cover with a lid and set aside for 15 minutes.
Strain the finished compote and put it in the refrigerator.
