Rinse the berries under running water and mash them through a sieve to get a thick juice in the form of puree.
Fill the cake with water, add sugar, mix and put on fire. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, remove from heat and strain through a sieve.
Add juice to the water, try for sugar. If you are not sweet, you can add more sugar or a couple of spoonfuls of honey.
Put the mors on the fire and bring to a boil, but do not cook. Take it off as soon as you see the bubbling. Pour into a decanter, wait until it cools down and you can drink.
