In the summer I try to cook a lot of compotes and fruit drinks. They perfectly cope with thirst and at the same time saturate the body with vitamins. Among my favorites is peach compote. It is prepared without additives in a matter of minutes. And if the fruits are sweet, sugar can also be excluded.
Ingredients
- Peaches - 500 g
- Sugar - 180 g
- Water (filtered) – 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the peaches thoroughly under running water.
Cut in half, peel off the seeds, chop.
Bring the water to a boil, add the peaches and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat, add sugar and stir. Insist under the lid for at least a quarter of an hour.
Pour the peach compote into the prepared container and put it in the refrigerator.
