Contrary to popular opinion, Caesar sauce can be used not only as a dressing for the salad of the same name. It is added to various dishes, pizza and simply served with croutons. Prepare a fragrant sauce with anchovies and try to experiment!
Ingredients
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Anchovies (canned) – 4 fillet
- Mustard - 0,5 tsp.
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp.
- Olive oil - 50 ml
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Place the egg in boiling water and after 10 seconds catch it with a slotted spoon.
Break the egg into a wide bowl, add mustard, lemon juice and whisk with an immersion blender for 2 minutes.
Without stopping whipping, pour in the olive oil. After a couple of minutes, the mass will thicken.
Finely chop the anchovy fillets and pour them into a blender bowl.
Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and ground black pepper. Grind everything again until smooth.
