Ingredients
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Ketchup - 100 ml
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 art.l.
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tbsp.l.
- Tabasco - to taste
- Paprika (smoked) – 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion and garlic from the husk, finely chop.
Heat the oil in a small saucepan, add the onion and garlic and fry until golden brown.
Add sugar and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. The mass should be slightly caramelized.
Add paprika, salt, ground pepper, tabasco, vinegar, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
Heat the mass over low heat until it thickens. It usually takes 2-4 minutes.
