Ordinary meat broth with egg and herbs is a wonderful light lunch when you want something quick and simple. And no potatoes or vermicelli are needed – protein perfectly saturates. And if you want a beautiful golden color, add a spoonful of turmeric in the last minutes.
Ingredients
- Beef - 1 kg
- Water - 1 l
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Parsley root - 1 piece
- Greenery - 0.5 beam
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the meat with water, add salt and boil for about an hour on low heat, removing the foam.
Coarsely chop the carrots, onions and parsley root, and place in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
Half an hour after the start of cooking, add the vegetables to the broth.
Separately boil the eggs and chop the greens.
Season the finished broth to taste, strain and pour on plates. Garnish with herbs and egg halves.
