This is a dish that surprises! Thanks to bacon and garlic, baked rabbit becomes incredibly fragrant. Already in the process of cooking, an appetizing smell begins to spread around the house. The most difficult thing in this recipe is to wait for the finished dish.

Ingredients

  • Rabbit - 1 kg
  • Bacon - 200 g
  • Garlic - 1 head
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Olive oil - 2 art.l.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the rabbit, dry it thoroughly and slice it.

Sprinkle with salt, ground pepper and leave to marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.

Cut the bacon into thin strips.

Disassemble the garlic into cloves, each slightly crush with the handle of a knife.

Peel the onion from the husk and cut in half.

Grease the mold with oil, put the rabbit, bacon pieces, onion and garlic cloves.

Cover with a lid or a double layer of foil and bake for 50 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Carefully remove the foil and cook for another 15 minutes.
