Is it possible to find a berry that would not be suitable for jam preparation? It is difficult to answer this question unequivocally. But green gooseberries certainly do not belong to such berries. I share a recipe that has been repeatedly tested in practice!
Ingredients
- Gooseberry (green) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Vanillin - 2 pinches
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the gooseberries, pass through a meat grinder, mix with sugar and leave for 2-3 hours.
Add vanilla, bring the jam to a boil and cook for 5-10 minutes on low heat.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
