Usually, to make compote for the winter, fresh fruits or berries are rolled into jars. But is it possible to make just a drink, without pulp and anything superfluous? It is possible, and in this recipe I will tell you how to cook it and what needs to be taken into account.
Ingredients
- Apples - 300 g
- Berries - 400 g
- Sugar - 140 g
- Water - 3 l
- Honey - 2 art.l.
- Cinnamon - 1 wand
- Star anise - 1 asterisk
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the apples, wash the berries, add sugar and spices, and fill with water.
Bring the compote to a boil and cook for 15 minutes to the desired saturation. Add honey and citric acid.
Strain the compote into sterilized jars.
Sterilize them for another 10-15 minutes in a pot of water and roll them up.
