In the middle of summer, the zucchini harvest is always very generous, so the question arises – where to put them in such quantity. In this case, I prefer to just roll them in jars, like any other vegetables. Then it will be an independent snack or a great addition to other dishes.
Ingredients
- Zucchini - 800 g
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Water - 500 ml
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Slice the zucchini. Place in clean, dry jars with garlic and all spices.
Pour boiling water and leave under the lids for 15 minutes.
Drain this water, add sugar and salt to it, and boil again.
Add vinegar, pour zucchini and roll up the jars.
