Ingredients
- Watermelon - 1 kg
- Mustard powder - 1 tsp.
- Citric acid - 1 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - half a glass
- Salt - 2 tsp.
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the washed watermelon into small pieces together with the peel.
Carefully arrange the watermelon in sterilized jars and pour boiling water to the top. Cover with lids and leave to cool completely.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, salt and boil for 2 minutes after boiling.
Pour mustard and citric acid into jars of watermelon.
Pour in the boiling marinade and roll up. Wrap the jars with a warm blanket for 2 days.
