Have you decided to cook only one kind of preservation from peaches this year? Let it be amber jam slices. Do not cook it for a long time. Two approaches of five minutes are enough. Instead of lemon juice, you can use a little citric acid.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the peaches, cut in half, peel the seeds and cut into slices.
Put the peaches in a deep saucepan, cover with sugar and leave for 1.5-2 hours.
Put a saucepan with peaches on a slow fire, pour in water and bring to a boil.
Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and set aside for 1 hour.
Bring the jam to a boil again, pour in the lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes.
Fill sterilized jars with hot jam, roll them up and wrap them with a warm towel.
