A few jars of garden quince jam have not bothered anyone yet. They will not interfere with you, especially if the harvest has already fallen into your hands. From part of the taste it resembles apple, but still there are completely different notes and a different flavor.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and finely chop the quince, cover with sugar, add a couple of tablespoons of water and boil until the sugar dissolves.
Let the workpiece cool down and then boil for another 10 minutes.
Let cool again, add lemon juice, boil the jam for the last 10 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
