One of my favorite ways of harvesting green tomatoes is this recipe with garlic slices and spices. I advise you to take young garlic – and then it does not even need to be completely cleaned. He will give away his fragrance anyway, and you will save time.
Ingredients
- Green tomatoes - 2 kg
- Garlic - 1 head
- Bay leaf - 6 pieces
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tbsp.l .
- Water - 1.5 l
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut tomatoes into slices. Arrange them with garlic, bay leaf and pepper in sterilized jars.
Pour boiling water, leave for 15 minutes under the lid and drain.
Add sugar, salt and vinegar to it, boil again, pour tomatoes again and roll up.
