I love mushroom pickle with ginger and cabbage, but I don't like cooking it too much every time. And the ginger season is not eternal, and dried mushrooms are already a little different. There is a perfect solution to the problem – to boil more solyanka and roll it up for the winter.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage - 2 kg
  • Redheads - 1.5 kg
  • Onion - 500 g
  • Carrots - 500 g
  • Sugar - 0.5 glasses
  • Vegetable oil - 250 ml
  • Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
  • Vinegar - 1.5 tbsp.l.
  • Bay leaf - 5 pieces
  • Black Pepper - 5 peas

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil the redheads for 20 minutes in boiling water and cut them arbitrarily.

Chop the cabbage and mash it with your hands.

Chop the onion and carrot, and fry until browned in oil along with the ginger.

Separately, simmer the cabbage for 10 minutes.

Mix all ingredients except vinegar.

Simmer the hodgepodge for 20 minutes, pour in the vinegar and roll it into sterilized jars.
