I really love harvesting, not only for the opportunity to keep fresh seasonal vegetables, but also for practicality. For example, it is only necessary to cook a large pot of such a dressing for borscht with beetroot and bell pepper once – and in the future you will save hours of time.
Ingredients
- Beetroot - 3 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Onion - 1 kg
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 1 kg
- Salt - 3 tbsp.l.
- Vinegar - 125 ml
- Vegetable oil - 220 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and chop all the vegetables, as for borscht.
Add oil, salt and spices if desired.
Boil the mass for 40 minutes on low heat after boiling.
5 minutes before the end, pour in the vinegar.
Roll the filling into sterilized jars.
