What could be tastier than fragrant strawberries? Maybe a well-cooked jam from it? Try to cook strawberries in their own juice according to my favorite recipe! In our pantry, such blanks usually do not linger.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the strawberries under running water, cover with half the sugar and leave for 4-5 hours.

Pour the resulting syrup into a deep saucepan and boil for 15 minutes.

Carefully pour the berries and the remaining sugar into the boiling syrup and cook for another 15 minutes.

Arrange the hot jam in sterilized jars, roll it up and wrap it with a warm blanket for a day.
