This recipe uses a lot of sugar and vinegar. Pickling cucumbers in Finnish takes place in a hot way. Sliced vegetables are boiled, and then laid out in jars and filled with hot marinade. You can take a sample in a month.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 3 kg
- Bell pepper - 200 g
- Onion - 400 g
- Garlic - 50 g
- Dill - 3 umbrella
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar - 350 ml
- Sugar - 400 g
- Salt - 160 g
- Water - 4 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop cucumbers, peeled onion, garlic and bell pepper.
Boil water in a large saucepan, add spices, dill umbrellas, salt and sugar.
Add the vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.
Fish out the vegetables with a slotted spoon and put them in jars.
Add vinegar to the boiling marinade and immediately remove from heat.
Pour the marinade into jars, roll it up and leave it warm for a day.
