Every year, when the blueberry season starts, I go to the market. I buy several kilograms at once. I freeze a little, but I cook most of the blueberries with sugar. The jam turns out delicious, not overcooked and moderately sweet.
Ingredients
- Blueberries - 3 kg
- Sugar - 1,5 kg
- Citric acid - on the tip of the knife
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the blueberries thoroughly and put them in a colander to drain.
Put the berries in a saucepan, cover with sugar and leave for 1.5-2 hours.
Put the pan on a slow fire and bring to a boil. Boil for a minute, turn off and put aside to cool.
Add citric acid, boil for 7-10 minutes and roll up.
