In winter, a jar of beetroot will be most welcome! Judge for yourself how convenient it is! No need to get your hands dirty on vegetables, chop them and stew. Just add the billet to the broth, boil for 5 minutes and the fragrant soup is ready!

Ingredients

  • Beetroot - 1,5 kg
  • Tomatoes (medium) – 5 pieces
  • Onion - 200 g
  • Garlic - 50 g
  • Vegetable oil - 50 ml
  • Vinegar - 120 ml
  • Ground black pepper - 1 tsp.
  • Sugar - 100 g
  • Salt - 100 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the beetroot and cut into strips.

Peel tomatoes, onions and pass through a meat grinder.

Mix all the vegetables in a large saucepan, add sugar, salt, ground pepper, crushed garlic and oil. Leave it on for 1.5-2 hours so that the juice appears.

Put the pan on the fire, bring to a boil and cook for 1 hour over low heat.

Pour in the vinegar, put it in jars and roll it up.
