Since I often spoil my family with pastries, thick jams and jams are consumed quickly. In season, you have to cook them from all fruits and berries. One of the most delicious, in my opinion, is blackcurrant jam. Consistency, aroma, color — everything is perfect!

Sort out the black currant, peel off the dry tails and rinse thoroughly.

Chop the berries in a blender or pass through a meat grinder.

Put the resulting mass into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add lemon juice, sugar and cook for 30 minutes over low heat.

Put the hot jam in clean, dry jars, roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it with a warm blanket for a day.
