There are a lot of recipes for jam and pumpkin jams, and today I want to share my favorite. Such thick jam is adored by children, because it can be eaten directly with a spoon. And I like to add it to the filling for pies.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the pumpkin from the peel and seeds, and cut it into small cubes.

Put it in a container with a thick bottom, cover with sugar and add water.

Add citric acid to the same place, put the pumpkin on the stove and bring to a boil.

Cook it for 20 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.

When the pumpkin is completely soft, grind the mass with an immersion blender until smooth and add cinnamon.

Cook everything together again for about 20 minutes – until the desired consistency.

Serve pumpkin jam in cremans or roll up in jars for the winter.
