If you don't like jams and jams for their sugary sweetness – this recipe is especially for you. Choose sour varieties of apples, supplement them with the natural tart sourness of lingonberries – and you will get a solid pleasure.
Ingredients
- Apples - 2 kg
- Lingonberries - 500 g
- Water - 250 ml
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 1.3 kg
- Yellowfix (1:2) – 3 sachets
- Vanilla sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the apples, peel and core, and cut into slices.
Mix water with citric acid and pour over the apples. Put everything on the fire and boil for 7-10 minutes.
Remove the workpiece from the stove, let it cool down a little and grind it with a blender to the desired consistency.
After that, add lingonberries to the apples and mix gently.
Mix sugar, jelly and vanilla sugar, and send to the rest of the ingredients.
Bring the jam to a boil, boil for 5 minutes and pour into sterilized jars.
