It's no secret that certain parts of meat should be used for each dish. For example, it is advisable to buy ribs for soup, and the juiciest shish kebab is obtained from pork ham. It is not superfluous to remind that it is also important to take into account the freshness of the product.
Ingredients
- Pork ham - 1 kg
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp.l .
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Mustard powder - 1 tsp.
- Coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Mineral water (highly carbonated) – 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut pork ham into small cubes, put it in a bowl and pour cold mineral water for half an hour.
Drain the water, squeeze the meat slightly.
Peel the onion and cut into thick rings.
In a bowl with meat, add onion, mustard powder, oil, vinegar, spices, salt and sugar. Stir, cover with cling film and refrigerate for 8-10 hours.
Remove the meat from the refrigerator and leave at room temperature for 1 hour.
Put meat and onions on the skewers.
Fry on the grill for 20 minutes, turning it over often.
