Prepare a delicious cabbage soup with mushrooms according to this simple recipe. In winter, you will have an independent snack and a full-fledged lean dish on the table. Serve the hodgepodge with meat and various side dishes, and also use it as a dressing for the first courses.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage - 1 kg
  • Mushrooms (any) – 1 kg
  • Onion - 300 g
  • Carrots - 300 g
  • Vegetable oil - 200 ml
  • Vinegar (9%) – 8 tbsp.l.
  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
  • Black Pepper (with peas) – 5 pcs.
  • Sugar - 100 g
  • Salt - tbsp.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the mushrooms from the sand and peel, rinse under running water, cut into random pieces. Boil the mushrooms over low heat for 10 minutes after boiling, then throw them into a colander.

Peel the onion and carrots, chop the onion finely, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Fry the onion in preheated vegetable oil, then add the carrots and fry everything together for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Chop the cabbage and send it to the fried vegetables, mix.

Add mushrooms, salt, add sugar, black pepper and bay leaf. Mix everything together and simmer on low heat under the lid for 30 minutes after boiling.

5 minutes before cooking, add vinegar.

Put the hot hodgepodge with mushrooms into pre-sterilized jars, roll up, turn upside down, wrap up and leave to cool. Then move the workpiece to a cool dark place, you can put it in the refrigerator.
