Delicious and fragrant gooseberry jam with apples will delight you on cold winter evenings. Choose only whole gooseberry berries and sweet and sour apple varieties. Serve a delicious treat with tea or add it to pastry as a filling.

Wash the gooseberries, cut off the tails.

Peel the apples from the skin and cores, cut into pieces.

Put the prepared gooseberries and apples in a cooking pot, add sugar, add 1 tablespoon of water. Mix everything and cook the jam over low heat until the desired consistency. Do not forget to remove the resulting foam in the process.

Fill a pre-sterilized jar with boiling gooseberry jam with apples and seal it tightly. Wrap the jar with the blank and leave it to cool completely. Store the cooled jam in a cool, dark place.
