During the keto diet, most desserts are banned. But you can cook them yourself by eliminating or replacing harmful ingredients. So, for example, there was a recipe for keto marshmallows on agar-agar. No sugar and dyes, only healthy and natural products.
Ingredients
- Egg whites - 2 pieces
- Agar-agar - 8 g
- Stevia - 1 tsp.
- Citric acid - 0,3 tsp.
- Salt - at the tip of the knife
- Water - 60 ml
- Berries - handful
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the berries in a blender, and then rub through a sieve.
Agar-agar mix with hot water, boil for 2-3 minutes and put aside.
Beat the cooled proteins with salt and citric acid until stable peaks.
Without stopping the mixer, pour the berry puree into the protein mass.
Add stevia, the billet with agar-agar and whisk everything together for another 3-5 minutes.
Using a pastry syringe, put the marshmallows on baking paper. Dry for 1 day at room temperature.
