Fragrant paprika is one of the best spices for pea porridge. In this recipe, I advise you to mix some ordinary and smoked spices. Adjust the consistency of the porridge at your discretion due to the amount of liquid.
Ingredients
- Peas - 1 glass
- Water - 1 l
- Cream - 100 ml
- Paprika (smoked) – 1 tbsp.l .
- Dried chili pepper - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas for 6-10 hours, fill with clean water and put to boil.
Cook the porridge until soft for about 40-50 minutes. 5 minutes before the end, add the spices.
Drain the excess water, pour in the hot cream and mash the porridge.
