Desserts can be not only delicious, but also healthy. Want to make sure? Prepare a pastille of apples and gelatin. Most of the time, the pastille is cooked in the refrigerator. The oven will only be needed for baking apples.
Ingredients
- Gelatin (instant) – 25 g
- Apples - 500 g
- Sugar - 400 g
- Egg whites - 1 piece
- Water - 100 ml
- Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Corn Starch - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the apples, clean them from seeds and stems.
Place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and bake for 30-40 minutes until soft.
Rub the apples through a sieve, add sugar, stir and cool.
Add the egg white and beat with a mixer for 10-15 minutes.
Mix gelatin with water and warm it in a water bath so that all the particles dissolve.
Pour the gelatin liquid into the apple-protein mixture and continue whipping for another 5 minutes.
Cover the baking sheet with foil and brush with olive oil.
Put the prepared mixture into a mold, smooth it out and send it to the refrigerator for 12 hours.
Cut the finished pastille into small cubes and sprinkle with a mixture of powdered sugar and starch.
