Tofu pate is a vegetarian and vegan alternative to the classic pate, prepared on the basis of soy product. It has a delicate texture and mild taste, but it contains less fat and calories compared to meat pates.
Ingredients
- Tofu - 250 g
- Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Champignons - 450 g
- Soy sauce - 1 tbsp.l.
- Oregano - 1 tsp.
- A mixture of peppers with peas (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the onion and mushrooms. Fry together in vegetable oil until golden.
Add chopped tofu, garlic, spices and soy sauce to taste.
Simmer all together for 10-15 minutes.
Chop the pate with a blender.
