Lagman — thick Asian soup with noodles, meat and vegetables. It is easy to turn it into a first or second course by simply changing the amount of liquid. Today I will share with you a recipe for lagman soup. Consider a simple option with ready-made noodles!
Ingredients
- Beef (fillet) – 600 g
- Noodles - 300 g
- Bell pepper - 2 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 teeth
- Tomato sauce - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Allspice - 3 peas
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Ground red pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop beef, peeled carrots, onions and bell peppers.
Heat the oil in a cauldron, add the beef and fry for 10 minutes.
Add onions, carrots and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the bell pepper and crushed garlic cloves. Fry, stirring, for 10 minutes.
Rub the black and allspice peppers in a mortar and pour into the cauldron.
Add hot water, tomato sauce, ground red pepper and salt. Simmer all together under the lid for 45 minutes.
Boil the noodles until tender in a separate saucepan.
Arrange some noodles on plates, pour in the soup with meat and vegetables.
