Spring rolls usually have a lot of bright multicolored ingredients, thanks to which they instantly attract attention. But today I propose to cook such a minimalistic green version with shrimp, basil and salad leaves.
Ingredients
- Rice paper - 6 sheets
- Basil - 12 leaves
- Iceberg lettuce - 6 sheets
- Rice noodles (thin) – 30 g
- Shrimp (large) – 18 pieces
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour boiling water over the noodles for a few minutes according to the instructions.
Boil the peeled shrimp until tender.
Peel the cucumber and cut it into thin strips.
Moisten rice paper with water and put 3 shrimp and 2 basil leaves on each sheet.
On them – a sheet of iceberg, another salad or Peking cabbage.
Arrange cucumbers and noodles, and roll up tight rolls.
